About manonadune
Publishing is a new venture from James Holbrook, an under-the-underground word artist, who was, once long ago for a short time, a choir boy, once walked city walls and later rediscovered his voice, creating a largely unreleased sonic archive of improvised wordart.
In the last few years he has been creating new genre video art, mostly in North Eastern England
In a previous life he worked as a residential social worker and care services manager in a south London organisation followed by market research, telesales, telemarketing and marketing with various organistions, including a multinational IT company
Journeys in the USA and Netherlands shaped the route he took, as did a visit to Sunderland early in the new millenium. Roots in Yorkshire and the North East are deep. Born in London, he spent his first five decades near a rabbit hole in the South before relocating to Yorkshire, not very far from a Northern rabbit hole.
In the early 2000s James Holbrook created the nom d’art 'manonadune' for his artistic explorations.
